Tokai to Kamioka (T2K) Near Detector Upgrade
Constructed the Super Fine Grain Detector (SuperFGD) by mounting two million 1cm3 scintillation cubes in a 192x184x56 cube orientation, and precisely arranged all cubes to minimize misalignment
Collaborated with 14 other researchers from The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), KEK-Japan, Oxford University and Stony Brook University (SBU) for cube assembly

Tokai, Ibaraki, Japan, October 2022 - PresentCryogenic Readout Electronics Testing for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE)
Conducted thorough QC analysis on Liquid Argon ASIC chips by investigating readout, both at room temperature and in liquid nitrogen, to ensure proper performance prior to installation at DUNE
Performed meticulous inspection of pins, connections and resistances of cold wires at room temperature to be used in DUNE to ensure proper equipment functionality
Brookhaven National Laboratory
Upton NY, United States of America, September 2022 - October 2022Neutron Test Beam Analysis for T2K Collaboration
Analyzed Monte Carlo (MC) simulations of a Neutron Beam on a hydrocarbon target to investigate outgoing particle kinematics from elastic and inelastic collisions to create a comparison for analyses on data
Used ROOT, C++ and Python to analyze MC files and organize kinematics by collision type, particle type and by 100MeV bins for incoming neutron energy for thorough analysis of simulation results
Reduced computation time and improved workflow efficiency by using multithreading techniques in Python, Bash scripting, and implementation of command line arguments
Compared analyses on MC files constructed with different physics lists to verify phenomena observed in distributions of particle kinematics based on different cascade models
Produced a detailed and organized technical note of background material, work done and results found

Stony Brook NY, United States of America, January 2022 - PresentReconstruction of Top-Anti-Top Quark Decay Pairs - Undergraduate Research Thesis & Continuation of Study as Research Assistant
Investigated use of different neural network architectures for reconstruction of 𝑡𝑡̅ decay pair kinematics
Developed Python script to analyze fraction of decay jets correctly predicted by comparing network predictions to observed data and results from MC simulation to thoroughly assess network effectiveness
Compared effectiveness of Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory architectures against Convolutional Neural Network architectures at 𝑡𝑡̅ quark pair reconstruction to reproduce results from a previous study

Toronto ON, Canada, September 2020 - April 2021Pulsar Data Analyst for CITA
Analyzed changes in scintillation patterns from pulsars over pulse phase to determine whether or not different signals travel in the same path through the interstellar medium to Earth
Created Dynamic Spectra and Secondary Spectra (DS and SS) plots using Python to illustrate and analyze differences in scintillation patterns of pulses over different rotation phases
Built upon existing body of version-controlled source code through project collaboration on GitHub to facilitate further scintillation pattern analysis and software improvements by other collaboration members
Awarded Summer Undergraduate Research Project student of the week for excellent work

Toronto ON, Canada, May 2019 - May 2020Pre-Programmed Printer Embedded System
Created a Robotic Assembly capable of drawing a number of pre--programmed shapes
Utilized Object Oriented Programming in C++ to await a command from a user to select the desired shape to be drawn and to initiate drawing before accurately drawing the shape onto an A4 Sheet of paper
Demonstrated a coalescence of excellent 3-D Printing, Laser Cutting and woodworking skills to create a frame and base for the printer
Conducted a User Satisfaction Survey, indicating 92.5% of people were satisfied with the design and use of the assembly
